Apa itu Pemeriksa Kepadatan Kata Kunci (Keyword Density)?

A keyword density checker counts how many times a keyword or exact phrase appears in a text and divides that by the total word count, to flag obvious keyword overuse or a term that barely appears at all.

How to check keyword density

Use this checker to see how often a word or phrase appears in a piece of content, relative to the total word count — a quick sanity check before publishing.

How density is calculated

Density
(occurrences / totalWords) * 100

A 500-word draft with "content marketing" appearing 6 times

That works out to a 1.2% density for the phrase.

6 / 500 * 100 = 1.2%

What counts as an occurrence

Matching is case-insensitive and looks for the exact phrase as consecutive words — "content marketing" matches only that two-word sequence, not the words "content" and "marketing" appearing separately elsewhere in the text.

Where a density check is commonly used

  • Blog posts and articles, to catch a keyword that's been stuffed in unnaturally.
  • Product listings and meta descriptions, where a term is easy to repeat without noticing.
  • Reviewing someone else's draft before publishing, as a quick second opinion.

Density is a sanity check, not a target

There's no ideal density that guarantees good rankings — search engines evaluate relevance and intent, not a fixed percentage, so use this number to catch obvious over- or under-use, not as a score to optimize toward.

Pertanyaan yang Sering Diajukan (FAQ)

Does it ignore capitalization?

Yes — keyword matching is case-insensitive, so "SEO" and "seo" are treated as the same term.

Can I check a multi-word phrase instead of a single keyword?

Yes — enter multiple words and the tool counts exact, consecutive occurrences of that whole phrase.

What keyword density should I aim for?

There's no universal target — use the result to spot clearly excessive repetition or a keyword that's nearly absent, not to hit a specific percentage.

Does it count partial word matches?

No — it tokenizes the text into whole words first, so "cat" won't match inside "category."
