How to convert time zones

How it works

The date and time you enter is treated as the wall-clock time in the source zone, converted to a single point in time, then displayed in each target zone using its own current UTC offset.

Good to know

  • Time zones with daylight saving time change their offset through the year — the conversion always uses the offset in effect on the date you entered.
  • Local times during a daylight-saving transition can be ambiguous or skipped entirely.
