DNS Propagation Checker
Check A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and NS records across Brazil, United States, Europe, Asia, Google, and Cloudflare views with TTL, DNSSEC, and consensus.
Domain and record
Compare public DNS answers across regional and global views.
You may paste a bare domain or a full URL; only the hostname is queried.
DNS record typeNo browser or device DNS settings are changed.
- 1Enter the domain and choose a record type.
- 2Regional ECS views and independent resolvers are queried.
- 3Compare answers, TTL values, DNSSEC, and consensus.

What is DNS Propagation Checker?
The DNS Propagation Checker queries regional EDNS Client Subnet views plus Google Public DNS and Cloudflare 1.1.1.1, showing record values, TTL, DNSSEC, errors, and whether successful answers agree.
How to check DNS propagation across regional and global views
Enter a domain, choose A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, or NS, then compare answers, TTL values, DNSSEC validation, and consensus across six public DNS views.
Propagation is cache replacement over time
After a DNS change, recursive resolvers can keep an older answer until its TTL expires. Different answers during that window do not necessarily mean the zone is broken; they may reflect caches refreshed at different times.
Regional views versus physical probes
Brazil, United States, Europe, and Asia are location-aware views produced with EDNS Client Subnet. They show how geo-aware authoritative DNS may answer for those networks, but they are not machines physically located in each city. Two additional checks use independent global resolvers.
How to interpret differing answers
Differences can indicate a change still propagating, but CDNs, load balancers, failover, and geo-DNS also return different healthy answers by design. Compare the values with your intended DNS configuration before treating divergence as an error.
Only the public hostname and record type are queried
The domain and selected record type are sent to the ProntoUso server, which queries fixed public DNS-over-HTTPS endpoints. No account data, browser DNS settings, or local network configuration is accessed or changed.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does DNS propagation take?
It depends mainly on the previous record's TTL and resolver cache behavior. Some views update quickly; others can keep the old answer until that cached TTL expires.
Does a different IP always mean propagation is incomplete?
No. CDNs, geo-DNS, round-robin records, and load balancers can deliberately return different valid IPs. Check whether every value belongs to the intended service.
Are the regional checks physical servers in those countries?
No. They are location-aware DNS views using EDNS Client Subnet; the interface labels this explicitly. The global Google and Cloudflare entries are independent resolver checks.
