How to resize an image

Resize JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or BMP files to new pixel dimensions and download the result.

How to use it

  • Drop or choose an image file.
  • Enter the target width and height.
  • Choose the output format and quality.
  • Resize, preview, and download the output.

Format notes

JPEG is usually best for photos, PNG is useful for sharp graphics or transparency, and WebP often produces smaller files in modern browsers.

Quality tips

  • Avoid enlarging images when quality matters.
  • Use JPEG or WebP quality settings for photos.
  • Use PNG when transparency must be preserved.

Processed on our server, kept nowhere

The image is sent to a ProntoUso server so Pillow can resize and re-encode it accurately. It is processed only in memory for that one request and is never written to disk or kept afterward.

Image resizer FAQ

Will this upscale small images?
If you enter larger dimensions manually, Pillow can upscale the image, but quality will not improve beyond the original image data.
Is my image uploaded?
Yes. It is sent to a ProntoUso server for resizing, processed in memory for that single request, and never stored or logged.
Can I choose the output format?
Yes. You can export as JPEG, PNG, or WebP using the backend image library.
